Seismic Isolation Plinth

This week we began the assembly and testing of the seismic isolation plinth for The Bowls Project installation.

The isolation is done via a Ball-n-Cone isolator (patented by our supporter WorkSafe Technologies) welded to a steel frame. The system allows for 18" of travel in the event of an earthquake.
